In 1887 Edouard Piette discovered many beautiful objects at the cave of Mas d'Azil in the French Pyrenees. One of the sculptures he found has always been a favourite of mine. It's a tiny horse's head carved from reindeer antler. This is my tribute to its unknown creator, still moving people with their art over 12,000 years after they left this world.
The Mas d’Azil Horse head is approximately 5 inches (13cm) tall and weighs approximately 140g.
Your Mas d’Azil is one of 219 and comes with it's own certificate of authenticity.
